On September 29 the IICT-BAS Robotics Club participated in the Robotic Strategic Forum 2021, which took place in Sofia Tech Park. At the forum the Nitroclubs.eu project was presented. Representatives of the project’s team demonstrated the developed, for educational robots, at that time software for solving tasks such as line following, maze solving, moving through non-defined obstacles course, and also the integration and usage of an AI camera for recognition of objects and people. The demonstrations with the NITROBOT educational robots caused great interest among high school students from Sofia, Shumen and Vratza, as well as among fellow colleagues from the Technical University of Plovdiv Robotics Club, students from Technical University of Sofia, companies in the field and fans. The IICT-BAS Robotics Club was created as part of the execution of the Nitroclubs.eu project and consists of the following members: Assoc. Prof. Nayden Chivarov- team manager, Valentina Ivanova, PhD- programmer, Denis Chikurtev, PhD- young scientist, Stanislav Yovchev, Petko Stoev, Angel Ivanov, Kocho Hrisafov, Ava Chikurteva- PhD students at IICT-BAS, Stefan Shivarov, PhD student at Technical University of Vienna, Vasil Lozanov and Iva Tosheva- students at Technical University of Sofia, interns at IICT-BAS.
